About Super History
Last updated: 19 July 2026
Super History is a browser extension for Chrome, Edge, and Brave. It remembers everything you see online, so you never lose it again. As you browse, the extension quietly saves the full text of every page you read, PDFs and product pages, the tweets, Instagram posts, and YouTube videos you scroll past, the things you copy, the text you type into forms, and your conversations with ChatGPT and Claude. Later, you find any of it by typing a word you remember. You can also reopen whole sets of windows and tabs you saved earlier. Everything stays on your own computer, private to you. Get it at superhistory.darola.net.
Why it exists
You read a great article, copy an address, glance at a tweet, or compare a few products. A day later, it is all gone. You dig through your history and reopen old tabs to find it again, and often the thing you wanted was never really saved at all. Or you keep 30 tabs open for weeks, because closing them means losing them. The Super History extension was made to fix that. It remembers these things for you, so you do not have to hold them all in your head or leave every tab running just in case.
What changes for you
- Type a few words you remember from something you read, and the full page comes right back in seconds.
- Tweets, Instagram captions, and YouTube videos are saved as you scroll, so the post you only saw for a moment is still there later.
- Everything you copy is saved with the page it came from, so an address or note from last week is still there when you need it.
- If you fill in a long form and the page crashes, the words you typed are still there. Passwords and private fields are never saved.
- Your chats with ChatGPT and Claude are saved in full and searchable, so a helpful answer does not disappear down the thread.
- You can look back through any day on a timeline, and get a quiet daily recap of where your attention went.
- Your windows and tabs are saved automatically as you browse. The extension keeps your last 2000 sessions, so you can close every tab today and bring the whole set back next month.
- From the toolbar popup you can search your history, grab a clipboard snippet, recover what you typed, or reopen a saved set of tabs.
- You decide what is kept: pause capture, block sites, choose content types, set how long things stay, and delete anything. Nothing is ever sent to us or anyone else.
- Search does not use AI. It matches the words you type against the pages you visited, and it works entirely on your computer.
